Councillor Christine McFlynn has been a councillor since 2009 and represents Magherafelt DEA on Mid Ulster Council.
Christine currently sits on the Planning Committee and Policy and Resource Committee. She has served as Deputy Chair of Mid Ulster Council.
Christine is dedicated to assisting all residents in Mid Ulster and actively participates in various community outreach initiatives. She is committed to preserving the beauty of our towns and countryside, often coordinating community clean-up events.
Christine is also a member of the NI Local Government Association (NILGA), Agewell Partnership, Mid Ulster Housing Forum, Magherafelt Town Centre Forum, PEACE Partnership, Shopmobility Mid Ulster, National Association of Councillors (NI), and the Irish Central Border Area Network (ICBAN). Additionally, she serves on the Board of Governors at St Patrick’s Primary School in Moneymore.
Christine has 3 children and enjoys walking and gardening.
